Summer Bible Study

Hey everyone!

This summer we will be trying something new: a summer Bible study!

While our weekly small group meetings have wrapped up for the school year, we want to continue to provide students with ways to grow in their faith during the summer months. This Bible study will be open to all students who have completed grades 7-12.

Because many of you will be working at camp or going on vacation, we will not be working through a series, but will instead be discussing different passages from the New Testament reading guide that our lead pastor, Stef Piva, will be handing out to our entire congregation. That way, if you can only make it to a few of the studies, you won't be left out of the discussion!

We will be meeting most Tuesdays at 10am, beginning on July 3. Our first meeting will take place in the Boardroom (right next to our church office), but for subsequent studies we will probably meet at the Tim Horton's at Queensborough Landing. Some weeks, we will also have youth events immediatly following out Bible study. There will not be a Bible study on July 10 as we will be hosting Crossover youth events that week after VBS each day.

The New Testament reading guide kicks off the day after our 75th Anniversary weekend (June 25). Everyone is encouraged to follow the reading guide on their own (approximately three chapters per day). When we meet up for Bible study, we will discuss any passages or chapters that stood out in particiular to you (we wont be able to cover all the readings each week - but the discussion will be directed based on what you enjoyed reading or have questions about!)

Here are the first few weeks of the reading guide. I will continue to post as the weeks go on:
