Yesterday our Crossover event was Field Games so after eating lunch in the Attic we headed across the street to the park. The temperature was perfect!! We had about 30 people and I really want to thank Bob and some of the older teens like Frank, Dale, and CJ for helping to get everyone to the park safely, set up games, and run them too!
We started with some relay games, then played Capture the Flag, and then played Muggle Quidditch. For those of you not familiar with Harry Potter, they play a game called Quidditch that I loosely adapted as a field game. It's basically half handball and half dodgeball and the kids seemed to like it... at least it pooped them out! After we were done playing games we headed back to the Attic to rest and have some freezies before everyone got picked up at 3. Another great day :)
