First, all girls going into grade 6 or higher are invited to a Girls' Movie Night! We will be going to see Brave at the Strawberry Hill theatre (72nd Ave and Scott Road in Surrey) on Tuesday July 17. The show starts at 8 so we will be meeting next door at the Starbucks at 7pm and then heading over to the theatre together. Please bring money for the movie (3D admission) and even for concession or Starbucks if you like! Pick up is from the theatre at 10pm. Please find you own ride there and back - if you can't find one, please contact me by Sunday so I can help you find a ride. Please also let either Sue or I know if you can come so we don't head into the theatre without you!
On Thursday July 19 from 7-9pm we are having a Games Night in the youth room! We have some board games, but feel free to bring your own, or bring some video games because we can hook up the TVs. I will be doing concession (proceeds go to our sponsor child, Zamira) but feel free to bring snacks to share as well. This event is for all students going into grade 6 or higher.
