Youth events - April-June

Here are the Youth events for the remainder of the school year.

Please note that as of May Camp (May 16-19), all grade 7 students are welcome to attend youth events for the remainder of the school year to help them cross over into this new ministry.

April 4: Alive! Games, worship, a message and small groups. The sermon theme is Dating.
April 11: Backyard Campout - We will be heading to Adam and Kris' house at 7pm for a camp out! Bring a tent, sleeping bag, warm clothes, and activities. Details and permission form will be available soon. Cost is $10.
April 18: No event - Good Friday
April 25: Alive! Games, worship and a special Dating Q&A Night with the youth leaders.

May 2: Choose Your Own Adventure - each small group will choose their own event this evening - information will be available in the week leading up to it.
May 9: Alive! Games, worship, a message, and small groups. The sermon theme is Marriage.
May 16-19: May Camp Youth Retreat - We are heading to Green Bay Bible Camp in West Kelowna for a weekend of fun! This is the first event that grade 7 students can come to. Brochure and registration info available soon.
May 23: Alive! Games, worship, a message, and small groups. The sermon theme is Sex. **Unfortunately, the grade 7s will have missed the rest of our series on gender, dating, marriage and sex, but are still welcome to attend this event!
May 30: Soccer BBQ - We are heading to Mackie Park in North Delta (next to Sands Secondary) to watch our church soccer team and cheer them on. Bring money for hot dogs, drinks and snacks - proceeds will go to a student-chosen charity.

June 6: Alive! Games, worship, and a special Marriage & Sex Q&A Night with the youth leaders. **Unfortunately, the grade 7s will have missed the rest of our series on gender, dating, marriage and sex, but are still welcome to attend this event!
June 13: Youth Wrap Up - Details TBA.


We will be offering events for students during the summer, including each afternoon following VBS. Be sure to check back here near the end of the school year for all event info!!
