iConnect Winter 2017 Events (Jan-March)

Unless otherwise noted, all events are for Grades 6-7 and take place in the iConnect room from 7-9pm.   2016-2017 Consent Waiver required to participate—be sure to hand it in if you haven’t done so already!

January 6—Human Bowling
As crazy as it sounds! Join us for life-size games including Human Bowling and Hungry Hungry Hippos—where YOU become a part of the game! Bring some friends and join us for a great night to start 2017.

January 13—Alive
Games, worship with the youth, snacks, and a devotional.

January 20—Board Games Night
Bring a game or use one of ours! We will have lots of games and snacks available as we spend time having fun together.

January 27—Alive
Games, a service project, snacks, and a devotional.

February 3—Egg Drop
Bring a friend and work in teams to create a protective nest to save your egg… when we drop it from various heights! Last egg intact wins a prize for the winning team. Will yours be strong enough to drop from the roof??

February 10—Alive
Games, worship with the youth, snacks, and a devotional.

February 17—Geriatrics Night
Join us for this wacky night of games based on old people stereotypes! Play some bingo, try drinking prune juice, and many more games that earn prizes.

February 24—Alive
Games, worship with the youth, snacks, and a devotional.

March 3—iConnect Olympics
Bring a friend and join us for this team game—work together to invent a country and then compete in Olympic-style games against other teams. Wear comfy shoes!

March 10-11—30 Hour Famine—7pm to 12:30pm
This is a sleepover event for Grades 6-12—we raise money for those without food, and fast for 30 hours to understand what it feels like. This event includes group games, competitions, and activity stations—an event you don’t want to miss! Grab a registration package in January to start fundraising—each student must raise a minimum of $50 to attend, and those who have raised the most will get to throw a pie in one of the iConnect leaders’ faces!



There are no Friday events during Spring Break (March 17/24). We resume with AMAZING RACE on March 31.
